Collision Investigation Detail detectives are investigating a traffic collision that occurred on Nov. 13, 2025 which resulted in the death of a pedestrian. 

On Nov. 13, 2025 at approximately 12:28 a.m., officers responded to the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Maine Avenue regarding a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.  

Upon arrival, officers observed that a pedestrian was being transported to a local hospital by Long Beach Fire Department personnel.   

The preliminary investigation indicates that an unknown vehicle collided with the pedestrian in the roadwayFollowing the collision, the vehicle fled the scene. Suspect and suspect vehicle information are under investigation. 

On Nov. 25, 2025, the Long Beach Police Department was notified of the death of the pedestrian. 

The decedent has been identified as Brandy Jackson, a 46-year-old resident of Long Beach.
