On June 22, 2016, at approximately 10:57pm, Long Beach Police Officers responded to a local hospital to assist the Long Beach Fire Department.
Paramedics had transported a male adult victim from a residential structure fire in the 500 Block of West 7th Street. Officers were advised the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital and had injuries that were suspicious in nature.
Long Beach Homicide Detectives were notified and responded. Their investigation is active and ongoing.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
