City of Long Beach offices and services will adhere to the following schedule for the Presidents Day Holiday, celebrated this year on Monday, Feb. 17:

• Trash and recyclables will be collected as normal on Monday, February 17.  
• There will be no street sweeping or enforcement of street sweeping violations on Monday, February 17.
• Meters and time zones that are posted Exempt on Holidays will not be subject to parking enforcement on Monday, February 17.  Please note: Some meters are enforced 365 days per year.  Days and hours of enforcement are posted inside meters.
• All libraries are closed from Saturday, Feb. 15 through Monday, Feb. 17. All libraries will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014.
