Long Beach, CA – The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will host a free concert featuring Tijuana Dogs. Taking place Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, this concert will close out PRM’s robust summer break recreation programming.

“There’s no better way to wrap up summer break than by coming together with family, friends and neighbors for a beautiful evening of energetic fun and live music,” said Mayor Rex Richardson. “Long Beach has long been a hub of arts and music and we are thrilled to welcome Tijuana Dogs to celebrate that cultural spirit that makes Long Beach so special.”

The concert will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marine Stadium (5255 E. Paoli Way). Community members are invited to rock out to high energy performances of pop, classic rock, hip hop and chart topping hits that span the ‘70s to the early 2000s. Known for their stage presence and versatility, Tijuana Dogs will keep the crowd on their feet all night long. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy on the lawn.

“I am incredibly excited to welcome the return of PRM’s end of summer concert to Marine Stadium,” said Third District Councilmember Kristina Duggan. “We encourage the community to join us as we say farewell to summer break with a fun, family-friendly celebration right in the heart of District 3.”

PRM's annual end of summer concert, which was held at El Dorado Park West in 2023 and 2024 due to comprehensive restoration and improvements as part of the City’s Colorado Lagoon Open Channel Project, returns this year to Marine Stadium. This concert aligns with the City’s Summer of Opportunity initiative, a collective impact approach focused on fostering positive development among Long Beach youth while simultaneously addressing youth violence.
