Due to forecasted rain tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24, City COVID-19 vaccine and testing sites will relocate their outdoor operations to indoors at the Houghton Park Community Center, located at 6301 Myrtle Ave., and the Main Health building, located at 2525 Grand Ave. Vaccine and testing clinics at Long Beach City College, Pacific Coast Campus and Veterans Stadium will reopen next week on their regularly scheduled operating days. These sites are located outdoors and cannot operate in the rain.
The modified vaccine and testing schedule for Dec. 23 and Dec. 24 will be as follows:

Vaccine appointments scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 23, at Pacific Coast Campus have been moved to Houghton Park Community Center. Those with vaccine appointments will be notified via email and phone. Those with testing appointments at Pacific Coast Campus or Veterans Stadium will be contacted via email for rescheduling.
All City vaccine and testing sites will also be closed Saturday, Dec. 25, and Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, for the holidays.

Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing COVID-19 cases, as well as preventing hospitalization, serious illness or death among breakthrough cases of the virus.
