Background

The El Dorado Sports Fields Improvements are part of a larger initiative to upgrade and revitalize El Dorado Regional Park in northeast Long Beach. Improvements to the youth softball and baseball fields and the surrounding areas were conducted in two phases. The planning and design were completed by the City of Long Beach Department of Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Marine Department, in partnership with the Sports Office and representatives from Los Altos Youth Baseball and Softball.

This project is part of the Elevate ’28 Infrastructure Investment Plan, a historic initiative dedicated to enhancing Long Beach parks, community facilities, mobility access, and streets. Learn more at lbelevate28.com.
