Long Beach Recovery Act - Programs
Recovery Programs
Following the adoption of the Long Beach Recovery Act, the Citywide Recovery team developed streamlined processes and procedures to guide Department staff in designing equitable programs that maximize recovery for residents and businesses hardest hit by COVID-19. These processes and procedures are aligned with funding and procurement guidelines so that expenditures are appropriate, and the accounting and documentation allow appropriate reporting and auditing to avoid jeopardizing funding or returning inappropriately spent federal funds. These programs are designed to achieve collective impact outcomes – mutually reinforcing programs and services that best support community recovery, particularly those hardest hit by COVID-19.
Recovery Dashboard
The Recovery dashboard is a new tool for Long Beach community members to track Recovery spending and key metrics. Community members can use this dashboard to follow the City's progress as the Citywide Recovery Team develops and improves programs. This dashboard is intended to be iterative and will be updated in May 2024.
