Long Beach, CA – The City of Long Beach is proud to announce that NBC4 and Telemundo 52 will return as media partners for the 41st Annual Long Beach Pride Parade, taking place Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. Audiences can tune-in to special coverage on parade day on nbcla.com, telemundo52.com, on the free NBCLA and Telemundo 52 mobile apps and on the stations’ free 24/7 local news streaming channels NBC Los Angeles News, Telemundo Noticias California.

“We’re excited to have our partners at NBC4 and Telemundo 52 return once again as media the partners for the Long Beach Pride Parade,” said Mayor Rex Richardson. “The stations’ live coverage of the parade offers an opportunity for folks near and far to tune in and enjoy this cherished tradition.”

Led by an esteemed lineup of grand marshals, the 2024 Long Beach Pride Parade will feature over 130 participating organizations, businesses and stakeholder groups showcasing a variety of vibrant and engaging floats and displays. The parade will commence at Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue then travel along iconic stretches of Ocean Boulevard to Alamitos Avenue in Downtown.

NBC4 weekday anchor Annabelle Sedano and Enrique Chiabra, anchor for Telemundo 52’s weekday newscasts “Noticiero Telemundo 52,” will join the celebration as the Media Grand Marshals and will be joined by Telemundo 52 Meteorologist Michelle Trujillo and NBC4 Reporter Christian Cázares along with members of NBCUniversal’s OUT employee resource group who will march alongside the stations.

“The Long Beach Pride Parade is a community tradition that is cherished by many, and we are thrilled to have it livestreamed by NBC4 and Telemundo 52 so that even more people can enjoy its charm,” said Vice Mayor and Second District Councilwoman Cindy Allen. “We thank the NBC4 and Telemundo 52 team for their support in sharing this important parade to folks across the region.”

Earlier this year, the City announced it will serve as the official host and funder for the 2024 Long Beach Pride Parade while Long Beach Pride, the nonprofit that traditionally produces the parade, restructures its organization. This year’s parade will coincide with the Long Beach Pride Festival, taking place Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 along the Downtown waterfront. The festival is a separate event organized by the Long Beach Pride organization. More information about the festival will be available at longbeachpride.com/festival.
