LBWIN Recognized as High-Performing Board

We’re proud to share that our Workforce Development’s Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network (LBWIN) Board has been recognized as a high-performing board by the California Workforce Development Board. 

To earn this distinction, a local workforce development board must show not just program operation, but also strong performance, strategic leadership, employer engagement, regional alignment and measurable outcomes.

LBWIN is considered high-performing due to these key strengths:

• Strong youth and public service pathways
• Employer engagement focused on growing sectors like aerospace, logistics, healthcare and construction

• Strong Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, or WIOA, results
