Computer Instruction
LB Reads Digital Literacy Workshops
Join us as we work on building our digital skills by tackling a new topic every month! We focus on topics ranging from the basics of using the internet to learning more elaborate computer applications. All skill levels are welcome!
The workshops are held in the Family Learning Center (FLC) at Billie Jean King Main Library. Advance registration is required and seats are limited.
Visit the Adult and Family Literacy Calendar or contact lbreads@lbpl.org to find out when the next workshop is.
The Burnett Neighborhood Library offers one-on-one instruction for basic computer skills and any other tech-related queries on Saturdays between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Assistance is provided on a first-come first-served basis.
Hours and availability may vary depending on staffing. We encourage patrons to call (562) 570-1041 before they visit.
The Library partners with Long Beach Community College (LBCC) to host computer classes at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library.
Contact the LBCC Adult Education Program to sign up for classes and for more information.
