National Home Improvement Month

This May, the City of Long Beach invites homeowners, renters, businesses and industry professionals to take part in National Home Improvement Month—a citywide celebration of community pride, creativity and the spaces we call home.
Organized by the Community Development Department, this initiative is themed “Love Where You Live” and aims to connect residents with the resources, professionals, and inspiration they need to improve their homes and strengthen their neighborhoods.
Home Improvement Expo
The Home Improvement Expo will be the exciting culmination of National Home Improvement Month. This family-friendly event will feature live demonstrations, hands-on activities like painting and composting tutorials, food trucks, photobooths and more.
