Long Beach Shoreline MarinaDowntownMarina

450 E. Shoreline Drive
Long Beach, Ca 90802
(562) 570-4950

The Long Beach Marina truly has one of the great locations in California, if not the United States. Boats are protected by a series of offshore breakwaters and by a natural south-facing bay. Our boating public appreciates rapid access to open water, prevailing winds and close proximity to Catalina Island. Sailing conditions in Long Beach are practically perfect year round. That is why Long Beach Has been and continues to be home of the Congressional Cup, Transpac and Olympic trial races. The Downtown Marina opened in 1982 and has 1764 slips for recreational boaters. We are located between the Queen Mary and the Long Beach Convention Center in the heart of downtown Long Beach.

Rainbow Harbor

Long Beach, CA 90802

Rainbow Harbor is located next to the Aquarium of the Pacific, and has 87 slips for commercial vessels, (16) 30-foot slips and a 200-foot long dock for day guests. All guest mooring is first come, first serve. Rainbow Harbor has (12) 150-foot docks for commercial vessels. Shoreline Village, and soon a large shopping complex, which will be built by Oliver Macmillan DDR developers, surrounds Rainbow Harbor.

All slips are rented on a month to month basis. There are waiting lists for most live aboard slips. You may stop by one of the marina offices, call, or e-mail and we will mail an application to you for slips.

Our slips accommodate recreational vessels ranging from 18 feet to 90 feet. Commercial vessels up to 200 feet may be moored. All slips in Long Beach are constructed of wood and come with a private dock box, water and power. Telephones may be installed for a nominal fee and all recreational boaters receive parking passes for their vehicles.

We have private boat owner parking for our recreational slips, sparkling clean private showers and heads, free use of City provided dock carts and free head pump-out equipment. Ice machines, nearby shopping, and laundry facilities are available.
