The City is developing a Plan for transforming the Terminal Island (TI) Freeway into a local serving road with an associated greenbelt. Your input will be used to help inform plans to decommission the TI Freeway, while increasing open space and buffering this community from air, noise, light and visual pollution. Made possible by a grant provided by Caltrans, the Green TI Plan will define the community's vision for replacing an underutilize freeway to mitigate pollution impacts and futher address long-standing community health concerns.
